Upon arrival, I was seeking a break inspection due to a noise I heard. After two mechanics throughly inspected my car I was told that everything appeared to be fine. I was then given some advice moving forward with maintenance. They had great customer service and I definitely recommmend you going there as well.

I visited this shop for an estimate on needed repairs and was quoted roughly $1,400 more than the actual work required. After seeking a second opinion from another local shop, the issue was resolved for only $100. Based on my experience, I would recommend obtaining multiple estimates before proceeding.

Sincere thanks to Doug, Rodney and team. My tire went out just a couple miles away and they helped me get there safely and quickly get back on the road. The staff are professional, reasonably priced and go above and beyond with customer service. Their expertise likely saved me $300-$400 in extra expense which I was extremely grateful for.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Tuffy’s Muffler Shop. I brought my truck in expecting a professional repair and instead got completely ripped off. They charged me $630 for work that was never even properly done. The main issue was a broken bolt on the manifold that they said they could fix. Not only did they fail to repair it, but instead of doing the job correctly they basically jerry-rigged the manifold by smearing silicone paste all around it. That’s not a repair — that’s a temporary patch job you’d expect from someone in their driveway, not a professional shop. To make things worse, they kept my truck overnight claiming they were going to obtain a part needed for the repair. Turns out that was completely untrue. They never got the part, never fixed the problem, and still charged me for it anyway.

As I was driving northbound on I-75, approaching the exit where this Tuffy is located. At that moment, I lost all electric power to a vehicle a friend lent me. I rolled up and off the exit and Tuffy was the first driveway upon exiting the highway. I manged to slowly roll in there and asked for assistance. They quickly pulled my vehicle into one of their bays, assessed the situation and let me know the vehicle's alternator was bad and provided me the readouts from their equipment showing what they found. Naturally I did not want to drop many hundreds of dollars on a vehicle I was borrowing for a couple of hours, and upon conveying this to their technicians, they suggested I charge the battery back up and roll back to my friend's place and return the vehicle to my friend and let them know about the situation with their alternator. I thanked them for their help and asked how much I owed for their time diagnosing the problem, and they said ZERO! Total class act. Honest... they could've charged me for that assessment (heavens knows a dealership would've charged to diagnose a problem). Quick and friendly service!
